Ulitka is a Berlin-based progressive rock band whose music combines genres such as rock, grunge, nu metal and ethno in a melting furnace to create an explosive mixture. Contrast is the keyword that unites all of the band's works into one concept. A soft, cheerful beginning can unfold into a dark, rousing hurricane and lead back to a clear ending. Such poles provide the anchor points on which the collective relies to create a unique, energetic atmosphere.
The compositions deal with wars and revolutions and tell of the utopian, bottomless dark sides of human nature and the ongoing struggle with it.

BIOGRAPHY
Nikita's journey to form the band began in the Ukrainian city of Donetsk and led him to Magdeburg, where he met his first artistic collaborator Vova. United in musical spirit, the creative minds embarked on the steep path to the first record and conjured up the first album "Where the Whales sleeps" in 2020.
After moving to Berlin, it was time to explore the capital.
The band's line-up was expanded to include Mark, who occupied the low frequencies on bass, and Vlad, who provided the indispensable rhythmic basis for the musical fireworks on drums.
In spring 2022, the band took part in the "Music for human rights" project and traveled to Israel for a charity performance. The aim of the project is to promote international cultural exchange and bring together musicians in a progressive youth movement.
Jerusalem provided the perfect stage and burned a sense of achievement into the hearts of the band members.
As a continuation of the project in the summer, Ulitka was booked as a show act at the Berlin Orwohaus.
